Details:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
counties, Harris and Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 732 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Humble, Kingwood, Spring, Patton Village, Roman Forest,
Woodbranch, Porter Heights, northern Atascocita, Lake
Houston, northeastern Bush Intercontinental Airport, Porter
and New Caney.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas, including
the following areas, in south central Texas, Coastal Jackson and
Inland Jackson. In southeast Texas, Austin, Bolivar Peninsula,
Brazoria Islands, Brazos, Burleson, Chambers, Coastal Brazoria,
Coastal Galveston, Coastal Harris, Coastal Matagorda, Colorado,
Fort Bend, Galveston Island, Grimes, Houston, Inland Brazoria,
Inland Galveston, Inland Harris, Inland Matagorda, Madison,
Matagorda Islands, Montgomery, Northern Liberty, Polk, San
Jacinto, Southern Liberty, Trinity, Walker, Waller, Washington and
Wharton.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected, with period
of heavy rain. Rainfall totals through Wednesday morning are
between 2 to 4 inches, with isolated higher amounts of 6-8
inches. Rainfall
rates are expected to range from 2-4 inches per hour at
times.
